The next time you find yourself thinking a lot and turning away from your thoughts, close your eyes and take a deep breath.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Meditation<\/strong><\/h2><p>Establishing a regular meditation practice is a proven way to support your mind.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do something good for someone else<\/strong><\/h2><p>Trying to ease the burden for someone can help you think of something good. Think of ways you can serve someone who is going through difficult times.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Acknowledge your success<\/strong><\/h2><p> When you are in the process of thinking, stop and pick up your laptop or open your favorite app on your phone.<\/p><p><strong>For my experiences:<\/strong><\/p><p>When I was in high school, I used to be an overthinking person especially at night. I was always alone, sitting and thinking about useless and negative things so it turn me to be a unconfident person. I always think negative and I do not truth anyone. Until one day, one of my friend asked me and I told him everything. He help me to solve this problem for two months.<\/p><p>First: I have to take a deep breath when I think about something that I can not handle. When I take a deep breath, it help me to think about new things and it not a negative thing like the last one.<\/p><p>Second: I also did meditate. It was like refreshing my brain to start thinking about good things. And it was very helpful for me.<\/p><p>Third: My friend told me to help someone else will help me to stop overthinking and I did not believe him. And the day that I tried it is the day that I knew I was wrong. So, I have to did it often to avoid overthinking.<\/p><p>Fourth: Sometimes, I need to have a break from school because everyone have to have a bad day in their life. But I have to ignored it and start doing something that I like.
