About Kyoto in Japan<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>

Kyoto is a Japanese city, and the place where I was born and raised<\/p>

Kyoto was the capital for about 1000 years from 794 to 1869.
\nTherefore, there are many historical and cultural heritage sites, and a total of 17 places such as shrines, temples, and buildings have been designated as World Heritage Sites.
\nSpecial products include yuba, pike conger, matcha, sake and pickles.<\/p>

Although it is now decreasing due to corona, Kyoto is visited by about 85.05 million tourists every year. Therefore, there are plenty of things for forgin tourists, and I think it is a very comfortable tourist destination.<\/p>

Among them, I would like to write an article about the recommended places.<\/p>

\u2460 Kiyomizu dera-temple<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>

The stage-built main hall, known as the “Shimizu Stage,” is built with pillars built vertically and horizontally without using nails. You should watch it once if you come to Kyoto.
\nIt is a place with a lot of tourists, both Japanese and foreigners.
\nThe cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in autum are very beautiful. You can also see the magnificent view of Kyoto.<\/p>

The official official name is Rokuonji Temple.
It is called Kinkakuji because the second and third layers are covered with gold leaf.(Kin is meaning Gold)
If a little snow accumulates in winter, it is called snow makeup and you can see the beautiful Kinkakuji Temple.
The Kinkakuji Temple reflected in the pond in the foreground is also a highlight.<\/p>

\u2462 <\/strong>Byodo-in Hoo-do<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>

This temple is also depicted on the 10-yen coin of Japanese money.
In addition, the phoenix on the roof of the phoenix hall Nakado is depicted on 10,000 yen bill.
The current one is the second generation, and the first one is on display and can be seen nearby.
You will be impressed by the size, dignity and vivid colors.
It’s located far from the city center, but I think it’s a good idea to go there.<\/p>

Arashiyama is a very popular tourist destination.
There is a famous bridge called Togetsukyo, and you can enjoy wonderful scenery in each season. There are many souvenir shops and restaurants, and you can also eat while walking.
There is also a bamboo grove nearby, and you can feel the cool breeze even in hot Kyoto in the summer, and you can spend a comfortable time.<\/p>

\u2464<\/strong> Nishiki-Market<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>

The official name is Nishiki ichiba, ichiba means Market.
The market is 390 meters long and started as a fish market about 400 years ago. The reason why Nishiki Market prospered is that it was blessed with good quality groundwater.
Currently, Kyoto fish and seasonal ingredients are gathered here. So you can see various ingredients and you can also eat while walking.
If you want to experience the food culture of Kyoto, I think it is the best place.<\/p>
